Quins confirm coup for All Blacks centre Saili
Harlequins have pulled off a coup with the signing of former New Zealand centre Francis Saili from Munster.
The powerhouse back, who can also play on the wing, moves to the Stoop after spending two years in Ireland, where he reached the Pro12 final last season after Munster had topped the table.
Saili has made two appearances for the All Blacks, both in 2013, and was a star of the side that won the Under-20s World Championship in 2011.
The 26-year-old has also represented the Blues in Super Rugby and scored seven tries in 42 appearances for the Auckland side.
On his switch to the Premiership, Saili told Quins' official website: "It's been a privilege of mine to be part of Munster Rugby for the last two seasons, however, the opportunity that lies ahead to be a part of a prestigious club like Harlequins is a great honour.
"I'm looking forward to a new challenge in the Premiership under the direction of the coaches and alongside my new team.
"Harlequins has a rich heritage and strong tradition and I look forward to being part of an ongoing legacy which the club continues to uphold."

I’d say France was far more hard done by in the 2011 final than the All Blacks in this game. Joubert simply refused to call a penalty against the All Blacks in the last quarter even directing an All Black to drop a ball he picked up in an offside position rather than penalizing him. This article also totally discounts the efforts of PSTD. Ask Jordie how well he played. Or the backup flank who played hooker for the entire game. Siya was also a brilliant tackle by Richie from scoring a blinder. Pollard was also fantastic. Look I don’t like the boks style but the only thing more questionable than the content of this article is the timing of it. Get over it already
