Radradra could be in hot water after being cited

Fijian winger Semi Radradra is facing a ban for an incident which took place in the first half of Bordeaux's 40-0 Top 14 thrashing at the hands of Toulouse at the weekend.
Radradra was yellow carded for a high challenge on Sofiane Guitoune in the 32nd minute.
He initially competed for the ball, but having lost out dragged down Guitoune by the face and neck, with the Fijian looking to get past and pounce on the loose ball.
The LNR's disciplinary committee has called him for a hearing next week. In many circumstances a player would be suspended pending a hearing, but he has been cleared to play, which is good news for Fiji, who take on Scotland in a November international at Murrayfield on Saturday.
In a statement from the Ligue Nationale Rugby they said "Following the recognition of Toulousain Stade Rugby/Union Bordeaux Begles, the appointed commissair on this meeting quoted the behavior of Mr. Semi Radradra for an action that took place at the 32 minute of the match.
"The situation is likely to constitute a breach of the General Regulations of the NRL and the FFR.
"Mr Semi Radradra is summoned before the Disciplinary and Rules Committee at its meeting on Wednesday 14 November 2018
"Mr. Semi Radradra is not suspended while waiting for this hearing.
The LNR have not been clear as to what length of ban he could face if found guilty of an offence.
Fiji are due to play Uruguay in Hartpury on November 17th, however he would most likely have been rested for that game. Radradra could miss Fiji's match with France on November 24th at the Stade de France in Paris. His club Bordeaux are also due to face Radradra's former side Toulon in the Top 14 on the same day.
Bordeaux face an away game at Perpignan a week later, before returning to European Rugby Challenge Cup action against Sale on December 8th.

Well said Mils. It is a big boost at last having Fergus Burke back at 10 for the Crusaders. Had a great season last year as the article says. Mils is also right about captain Codie Taylor’s performance in his return to the Crusaders last week. He was all class.
Go to commentsLet’s make them both Capt. I think we'd get the best of both of them and it would help alleviate some of the pressures of the role. They'd have to confer over on field decisions which should lead to “ learnings “ for both. They are our two best consistent performers.
