Repeat offender Wiese cops technical ban
Leicester Tigers backrow Jasper Wiese has been handed a technical ban for repeat infringement across the season.
On the weekend the Leicester substitute was yellow-carded for a late challenge on the Bristol number 10 in their Gallagher Premiership clash at Ashton Gate.
It was Wiese's third this season.
A RFU statement reads: "Leicester Tigers’ Jasper Wiese appeared before an independent disciplinary panel last night (Wednesday 29 December 2021).
"Wiese received his third yellow card in a season during the match between Bristol Bears and Leicester Tigers on 26 December 2021, contrary to RFU Regulation 19. Wiese accepted the charge and has received a two-match ban.
"The case was heard by an independent disciplinary panel comprising Charles Cuthbert (chair) with John Greenwood and Ollie Clark."

No my point is an ANZAC day test isnt viable for NZ so both NZ and Aus can do a test later in the calendar before the RC but after the incoming June tests or after the RC before the EOYTs. I never minded the Hong Kong test but it got old. Its all been done before and fans lost interest, and so did NZR and RA for a 3rd Bledisloe. I suppose my main point is that a extra test is all doable in the current calindar. But its not exactely being cried out for.
