The ridiculous Toulon backline that started vs Racing...but still lost
If there was any lingering doubt as to how insanely stacked Toulon's squad is, one needn't have looked further than their starting team for today's game with Racing.
The backline especially stands out for its sheer, ostentatious levels star power.
Eleven through fifteen lined out like this.
11 Semi Radradra
12 Ma'a Nonu
13 Malakai Fekitoa
14 JP Pietersen
15 Chris Ashton
That didn't stop them from losing 40 - 29 to a determined Racing side.
Still, it wasn't all doom and gloom for the Galacticos. Fekitoa scored his first try for the team and looked in fine form. Once the November Internationals are concluded, the club will have to contend with the headache of fitting the sizeable Matthieu Bastareaud back into the team.
That's the type of headache every coach wants.

Probably the worst article on a rugby match I have ever read
Go to commentsIt unfortunate for the Jaguares that they became formidable just as super rugby as we knew came to an end. However, the idea of bringing them back is nonsensical. While I enjoyed the Jaguares and the South African flavour of the comp, a selling point of this incarnation of super rugby is that all games are on a decent time for an Aussie audience.
