Roger Tuivasa-Sheck reportedly making code switch in 2019

NRL Superstar Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is set to make a code-switch in 2019 in a bid to play in the Rugby World Cup, according to Radio New Zealand the switch to the fifteen-man code is "done".

The Warriors captain is off contract at the end of 2018 and in the past has expressed a desire to return to rugby to chase his goal of playing for the All Blacks. Reports emerged late last year that there were talks between NZR and Tuivasa-Sheck which his manager Bruce Sharrock refused to talk about.

"There will be no discussions entered into around Roger's future for at least three months, at the earliest, and his immediate focus is to see what he can do with the Warriors in 2018."

It is likely he would join the Blues linking with another code-hopper Sonny Bill Williams and rising star Rieko Ioane, a mouth-watering proposition for any Blues fan.

Tuivasa-Sheck was a New Zealand schoolboy in 2011 while playing rugby at Otahuhu College in Auckland before being snapped up by the Roosters. He played at outside centre as a schoolboy and could fit in anywhere in the outside backs on return to the code.
