The Rugby Pod - Irish Takeover
By Rugby Pod
Goodey dials in from the all you can eat buffet in Dubai to call for the head of George Ford, while Irishman Brendan Macken stands in for him in the studio to discuss the men in green’s title triumph and the prospects of making it the best St Patrick’s Day ever by sealing a Grand Slam at Twickenham on Saturday. Oh…and there a couple of ‘special guest appearances’ ? in the studio!
All that plus a few whispers in The Rumour Mill and the week in rugby rounded up in The Goode, The Bad & The Ugly.

It’s interesting that no players from the Aussies golden era (say between 1987 - 2000) have emerged as international quality coaches. Or coaches at all.
Again, Australians are the problem methinks. Not as interested in the game. Not as interested to support the game. Not as interested to get into the game.
And like any other industry in the world - when you don’t have the capabilities or the skills, you import them.
