SA Rugby statement: Rassie Erasmus hospitalised
SA Rugby have revealed that Springboks director of rugby Rassie Erasmus has been hospitalised following a freak accident in which he has burned his hands.
Erasmus is currently recuperating in a hospital after undergoing a medical procedure to treat chemical burns. The burns were the result of a freak accident involving a potent detergent product. Despite the incident, Erasmus remains in good health and is on the mend.
A statement reads: "Rassie Erasmus, SA Rugby’s Director of Rugby, is recovering in hospital following a medical procedure for chemical burns sustained in a freak accident using a powerful detergent product. He is otherwise in good health and expects to return to full-time working within weeks."
The South African rugby community has rallied in support of Erasmus, expressing their wishes for a swift recovery.

Pretty much now the only old fart retained from last year isn't he? Still has some solid legs under him but probably lucky he signed before Hutchinson got a chance to impress in the NPC (which I was surprised he did after I thought he stalled a lot of the U20's flair in the JRWC this year).
