Scarlets suffer backrow injury blow
Scarlets have today confirmed that flanker James Davies will undergo surgery on his shoulder tomorrow.
The surgery is to repair damage sustained to his shoulder last season and will keep him sidelined for twelve weeks.
Despite initially trialing a period of rehabilitation the injury hasn't improved to the level required to function and cope with the demands of competition and therefore requires Davies to go under the knife.
The loss of the backrow is a major blow for the Champions, with Davies playing a pivotal role in last season's campaign.
The younger brother of centre Jonathan Davies, 'Cubby' has earned a reputation for his breakdown work and his abilities in the loose. Davies featured for the silver medal winning British 7s team that competed in Rio in last year's Olympics.

So were intercepts but players (no doubt coached like Carios says above) started cutting out the classic draw and pass with no intent to catch the ball..

I don't really know how big the welsh union is but I would have thought a head coach could get heavily involved in what type of player and rugby they were going to encourage in the country.
