Scotland lose another big name for the Autumn Internationals
Scotland hooker Fraser Brown will miss the autumn internationals due to a knee injury.
Brown did the damage in a European Champions Cup defeat at Exeter Chiefs last weekend and Glasgow Warriors on Friday revealed that he will be out for up to eight weeks.
The 28-year-old's absence is another blow for Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend after captain Greig Laidlaw suffered a fractured ankle that will keep him out of the Tests against Samoa, New Zealand and Australia next month.
Brown will be sorely missed by Glasgow in Saturday's Champions Cup clash with Leinster as well as a double-header against Montpellier and a host of Pro14 encounters.
There is positive news on Glasgow and Scotland full-back Stuart Hogg, who will make his first appearance of the season against Leinster on Saturday after recovering from shoulder surgery.
