Sean O’Brien rounds off a stunning Lions move during their defeat in Auckland

British & Irish Lions back row Sean O’Brien has been cited for dangerous play during the second Test at Westpac Stadium, Wellington last night.

The Leinster player was in sensational form for the Lions on Saturday and would be a huge loss for the tourists.

Citing Commissioner Scott Nowland has cited O’Brien for allegedly striking All Blacks winger Waisake Naholo with a swinging arm. The Citing Commissioner said the incident, in the 19th minute of the second half, is deemed to have met the threshold for a red card.

A judicial panel consisting of Adam Casselden (AUS), David Croft (AUS), and John Langford (AUS), will hear the case tonight at 8:00pm, at the New Zealand Rugby offices in Wellington.

I really thought they had it the bag. The fact the BILs took so long to get ahead, despite the Wallabies making numerous errors, showed how winnable this game was. Bloody annoying.

Well Rassie's policy took the Boks to back to back WC Trophies. The ultimate pinnacle of Rugby world wide. That policy made the Boks the number 1 Test ranked side in the world. I'd say that is a winning policy. It made them the most successful team since 2019. Your thinking is flawed and biased and not based on actual real life facts. You want to see where each policy takes us. You are late to the game. The Boks policy has been ongoing since 2018. A very very successful one I might add 😂😂😂😂

Good call. There was no head to head, or shoulder to head, or anything to head, contact. After initial shoulder to shoulder contact, there was a brush on the back of the neck in a soft landing motion. Both players were low. The hollywood attempt was unconvincing too.

Morgan Turinui is a bad ambassador for the game, bleating on & on & on as he does. His negative attitude is distasteful. Save it for Rugby Heaven or wherever else tests are reviewed. The Wallabies should really be asking themselves how tf did they lose to a very average BILs side after leading 23-5, six minutes from HT?

He should be judged after the WC to be fair. Testing different players and combos and tactics and building depth is not an easy task. We were only happy with Rassie after the 2019 WC final. He had his plans, and we decided to give him the chance to prove us wrong. Choosing the incorrect coaches and staff can also have an adverse effect. Much more goes into it than a game over the weekend you know that. It's just that head coaches takes and gets all the blame. Unlike over the sideline, you actually know what you are talking about and doesn't just spew whatever drivel comes to mind. The fans are heavily decided about the current crop of players and who they think is the best players. I'm just glad I don't coach the AB's or Boks. That isn't easy jobs, no matter what who thinks.
