Head coach Leo Cullen has made four changes to the Leinster starting team for the visit of Gloucester to the RDS this weekend in the Champions Cup.

Eleven of the team who started last weekend’s bonus point win over Racing 92 are named to start, with Luke McGrath, Rónan Kelleher, Ross Molony and Jack Conan coming into the line-up.

Ireland veteran Jonny Sexton – who is returning from injury – has been named on the bench, with Ross Bryne once again taking the reins at flyhalf. Sexton is joined on the bench by exciting Ireland attacking weapon Jordan Larmour, who is also returning from injury.

Meanwhile George Skivington has made thirteen changes to the starting XV that beat Bordeaux at Kingsholm last week, suggesting that the Cherry and Whites might be viewing the fixture as something of a foregone conclusion.

There are a number of heavy hitters in the form of Albert Tuisue and Jake Polledri, but there are also a host of less experienced.

This will be the first competitive meeting between the sides since 21 October 2006, where Leinster Rugby beat the Cherry and whites 37-20 at Lansdowne Road.

In August 2016, Leinster met Gloucester once again in a pre-season game at Tallaght Stadium. It was a tight affair, with Leinster just coming out on top 26-24.

Scott Robertson reacts to losing 'probably the best loosehead in the world'

On what world rankings list is he the best? I'd like to see those stats myself. I mean, if he is the best, all ranking systems or polls would have TW as the best in the world or at least most as opinions differ. I like facts, not Ben Smith type of arguments to get clickbait reactions. Personally calling him the best at this young age is a bit of a stretch. He is a very good player no doubt, there I can not disagree, but the best? That is laughable. To be honest, I see it as a coach that is propping up his players, to try and get them ready for the AB's vs Boks. That is taking a big risk as he would be better off rather reminding them who they are facing. A team that is double world cup winners, current holders of the RC, Freedom Cup, a team that has beaten them 4 times in a row. I'm sure this same speech to the players was given the previous 4 games too. “Men, don't worry, you are better than the opposition, man by man the best players in the world. If we lose, it would be a miracle and all the refs fault!” Maybe a different speech should be done? Don't ever underestimate any team. The rugby landscape have become very small. Everyone caught up. No one is invincible. Not my Boks, not our biggest rivals the AB's and not any other team. Don't fool yourselves. People laugh at the teams that the Boks put out against the Barbarians and now Italy. Such a strong team for such weak opposition they say… but blind to see what's behind the veil, the plans, THE INTENT. The Boks is coming to NZ to take that Eden Park record, they are coming for a double. It won't be 2 easy games for either team, only in the AB's fans eyes. However, if the NZ players take these tests as a given, as the AB's running over the Boks, as already won those games without even having a kick off… A rude awakening is what you will get. Propping up players with false hope is not going to be a good strategy. Reality is much better to face and prepare for
