Slade among 3 call-ups as England confirm injury toll
Henry Slade's omission from Eddie Jones' England squad has in the end been short-lived as the RFU confirm the extent of injuries suffered during a brutal Gallagher Premiership weekend.
Owen Farrell, Jonny May and Henry Arundell will not partake in a pre-Autumn Nations Series training camp in Jersey.
Slade, as well as Adam Radwan and Tom Roebuck, have been called up as replacements. It's a first call-up for Roebuck. The 6'2, 96kg Sale Sharks winger was born in Inverness in Scotland but has represented England at U18 and U20s levels.
A statement this lunchtime reads: "Owen Farrell (concussion), Jonny May (elbow) and Henry Arundell (foot) have withdrawn from the England squad who will travel to Jersey today after sustaining injuries in their weekend games.
"Tom Roebuck has been called up to the England squad for the first time. Adam Radwan and Henry Slade also make a return to the side.
"Owen Farrell will progress through his graduated return to play protocols at home.
"Henry Arundell will travel to Jersey for rehab, along with Will Stuart who is recovering from a knee injury.
"Charlie Atkinson, who is currently unattached, will join up with the England squad as a training player.
"England will spend five days in Jersey as they continue their preparations for their four Autumn Nations Series fixtures at Twickenham Stadium."
England take on Argentina, Japan, New Zealand and South Africa this November in Twickenham.

How can they not have the coaches to fix the issue? There's been a lot of talk about how their is a coaching drain in Australia but even they have the coach's to fix the issue (well in my opinion England are just as good as them) how can England also not have those pathways?
Perhaps if England do get into a similar tricky spot as Aus did then some good names will be putting their hand up?
