Springbok ruled out of final test against the All Blacks
South Africa have confirmed they will be without Uzair Cassiem for their final Rugby Championship match against New Zealand.
Cassiem was forced off with a rib injury in the first half of Saturday's 27-27 draw with Australia in Bloemfontein.
The number eight has now been ruled out of next weekend's clash with the All Blacks, although the Springboks have yet to confirm whether he will be replaced in their squad.
A tweet from South African Rugby on Sunday read: "Update - No 8 Uzair Cassiem has been ruled out for this week with a rib injury. If needed, then a replacement to be called in due course."
Jean-Luc du Preez came on for Cassiem against the Wallabies.
South Africa currently sit second in the Rugby Championship but can be overhauled by Australia if they fail to beat the All Blacks, who have already won the tournament.

Don't blame Gatland, these are the players he inherited. Blame the WRU, who for years have been slowly destroying Welsh rugby! It is they, lock stock & barrel, who should resign!
