England boss Steve Borthwick has confirmed an uncapped international next June versus France in London ahead off their end-of-season tour to Argentina and America.

The Allianz Stadium fixture will take place a week after the 2024/25 Gallagher Premiership June 14 final at the same venue, but the English head coach won’t have players from that club decider available for selection against the French XV.

Borthwick also won’t be able to select any player chosen for the British and Irish Lions tour to Australia. It will be France's second visit to London in the space of a few months as they are scheduled to take on England at Twickenham on February 8 in the Guinness Six Nations.

A statement read: “England have announced that an England XV will take on a France XV at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, on Saturday, June 21 (kick-off 3.15pm). The game forms part of the preparations for England’s three-Test summer tour to Argentina and the United States, with further details to be revealed in the coming weeks.

“Tickets for the clash will go on sale on January 13, via the England Rugby website. As part of the ticket, supporters will also have the opportunity to watch the RFU County Championship finals, setting the stage for a perfect day of rugby for fans of all ages.”

Borthwick said: "This game presents an exciting opportunity to see some of the rising stars of the game in action. It's always an incredible occasion when England faces France, and we are looking forward to creating a memorable experience for everyone involved.

“The match will be a valuable opportunity for the players to test their skills against a tough opponent and strengthen their chances for tour selection.”
