Strike power returns for Highlanders
The Highlanders will look to conclude their two-match South African tour with a win against the Sharks after their dramatic victory over the Bulls last week.
Head coach Aaron Mauger has made a handful of changes to his starting side with Aki Seiuli earning the starting nod in place of Daniel Lienert-Brown and Elliot Dixon making way for Shannon Frizell.
In the backline, Waisake Naholo returns to the right wing while Ben Smith shifts to fullback and utility back Patelesio Tomkinson starts on the left.
Young first five-eighth Josh Ioane has been named in the 23 for the second time and Matt Faddes is bracketed with Josh McKay - an injury replacement for Tevita Li - after suffering a training injury to his ankle.
“We know the Sharks recently had a good tour of Australia and New Zealand where they played some great rugby so they will present plenty of threats on Saturday," said Mauger.
"Our guys have really embraced the tour so far and we have enjoyed each other’s company and have worked hard at getting our game to the level it needs to be each week.”
Ash Dixon and Daniel Lienert-Brown will both play their 50th games for the Highlanders this week.
