The Cameron Woki tweet that confirms he will miss the Six Nations

France talisman Cameron Woki has confirmed that an injury sustained last Sunday with Racing 92 has ruled him out of the upcoming Guinness Six Nations. The French are set to begin their Grand Slam title defence with a February 5 match away to Italy in Rome but their preparations continue to be hit by a series of injuries, a casualty list that now includes second row Woki.
Writing on Twitter two days after sustaining a wrist fracture that will sideline him for a minimum of seven weeks, Woki wrote: “Thank you all for your many messages and support. I will work hard to come back soon. I wish the best to the XV of France for this tournament. I miss you already.”
His club Racing added: “Get well soon, Cameron Woki. Come back to us quickly!”
First capped in 2020, Woki has become a pivotal member of the France team under Fabien Galthie and during the ten straight wins in 2022, Woki was a starter at second row on eight occasions, only missing out on the July tour to Japan.
With Wales and Scotland announcing their squads on Tuesday for the Six Nations, following on from the England announcement on Monday and the news from Italy last week, France are the country that is next set to name its selection with Ireland due to confirm its pick on Thursday. Thibaud Flament is the early favourite to fill the vacancy left by Woki alongside Paul Willemse.

Super Rugby Pacific is improving and the conference system sucked ass and never should have been implemented but if you think the quality of rugby is better without the South African franchises, you are kidding yourself.
And there is nothing authentic about Moana Pacifika, it is a sixth NZ franchise. Almost all of the players are NZ citizens, born and raised in NZ, were developed by NZ secondary schools and play in the NPC. The players just happen to be of Pacific heritage (just as there are a very large number of Pacific heritage players on the original five NZ franchises). Moana Pacifika is a marketing ploy for Auckland’s second SRP franchise.
Fiji Drua are legitimately a Pacific island team. Most players are born in Fiji, the players live and train in Fiji, and they play their home matches in Fiji.
