Things get heated in post match interview when Peter O'Mahony is asked clumsy question
By Tom Parker
Interviewing a Munster captain after his team comes off a loss to Leinster can be a precarious situation for an interviewer, ably demonstrated by former Leinster and Ireland prop Reggie Corrigan.
Munster backrow Peter O'Mahony is not all too pleased when asked this rather clumsy question by former Corrigan for Irish language television station TG4.
Corrigan asks him did he think the Munster gave it there all. Peter was not happy with the insinuation that his teammates didn't give their all, as his answer suggests.

Right. But are they actually doing anything to ever base themselves in the islands with a mostly Pi born roster?
Or are they just content to be a 6th NZ team, filling their squad with Kiwis and Aussies (and an Englishman), spreading the talent even thinner than it already is, and make excuses every season why it’s not possible to play in the islands, let alone be based there? No, because most of their squad would rather stay home than do that.
If the Drua can manage all these things, why can’t this ‘island’ side?
Go to commentsOne All Black finally stepped up, but the rest are swanning around knowing they won’t get dropped, so why bother performing. They know they’ll not only make the Blues every week, but the All Blacks squad as well.
When players get dropped in NZ, it’s next to never that it’s an established AB, it’s the others who get the chop.
