Toulon match breaks Parc Y Scarlets stadium attendance record

Things couldn't be going much better for the Scarlets at the moment, and it's starting to pay dividends at the ticket office.

The Pro14 Champions hosted Toulon in their final pool match of Champions Cup on the weekend, and the French giants weren't the only things to fall that night.

The 14,476 attendance at Parc y Scarlets for the dramatic win over Toulon sets a record for a European Cup game at the west Wales venue.

That wasn't the only good news, with two Scarlets today nominated for the EPCR European Player of the Year 2018 award.

Lock Tadhg Beirne and Gareth Davies are included in the star-studded list which was selected by a panel of rugby experts.
