VIDEO: Cheika gives brutally frank assessment of Retallick incident
By Ian Cameron
A frustrated Michael Cheika has responded to questions regarding the officiating of the game, suggesting that Ned Hanigan is lucky not have sustained a serious neck injury.
The Wallaby's head-coach prefaced his answer by saying: "I've to thread lightly here my friend."
"It's clear to everyone, it's Retallick's picked up one of our blokes up and put him on his head. Categorically, he's got his arm through his legs, he's picked him up. Then it's a free pass."
"It's clear, the guy can't end up on his head any other way. But then it's a freebie. Just as well he didn't break his neck."
Cheika was also asked a bizarre question about New Zealand broadband speeds and whether they gave the All Blacks an advantage.

So were intercepts but players (no doubt coached like Carios says above) started cutting out the classic draw and pass with no intent to catch the ball..
Go to commentsYep, same problem that has happened with Australia. I'm hoping this decision is separate from the review. I don't really know how big the welsh union is but I would have thought a head coach could get heavily involved in what type of player and rugby they were going to encourage in the country.
