Video - Steve Tandy and Twitter react to record Ospreys defeat

Steve Tandy faces the media

Fresh pressure has been heaped on Ospreys coach Steve Tandy after the troubled Welsh region shipped a record defeat at home to Glasgow in the Pro14.

They ran out loser by 47 points to 6 against an inexperienced Glasgow side in what is surely one of the most embarrassing defeats in the region's history.

Tandy faced the media at the Liberty Stadium and it made for an excruciating nine minutes of viewing. In Tandy's defence, he doesn't roll out excuses. The embattled coach said he "didn't see the result coming".

The Ospreys have won just two of nine games this season and sit welded to the bottom of Conference A of the Pro14, one point behind Zebre.

On a side note Tandy said they would "of course" be interested in signing Scarlets centre Scott Williams, although whether or not Williams would be prepared to sign for a side that is suffering such abysmal form remains to be seen.

The reaction on Twitter to the Ospreys loss was unsurprisingly brutal, with many questioning how the current coaching ticket are still in a job.
