Wales receive yet another massive injury setback

Taulupe Faletau will likely miss all of of his sides 2018 Six Nations campaign.
Bath Rugby have today confirmed that Taulupe Faletau suffered a grade three medial knee ligament injury against Toulon on Saturday, which is likely to see the back rower sidelined for between 12 to 16 weeks.
Director of Rugby, Todd Blackadder, said: “We’re really disappointed for Taulupe – he’s been in great form this season, so it’s really unfortunate news. However, he’s in great hands with the medical team and we look forward to having him back on the pitch soon.
"These are opportunities where players can step up, and I've been thoroughly impressed by the way the likes of Paul Grant and Zach Mercer have performed over the last few weeks, and I'm sure they'll continue to do so."
Should he need surgery, that wold rule him out for 16 weeks and the entirety of the Six Nations.
Wales who will start the competition without Faletau's fellow Lions teammates Sam Warburton and Jonathan Davies, will be concerned by the growing list of casualties.
Davies is out for the season, while Warburton has just had knee surgery and it is unclear when he will return.

I guess we may all agree on the fact, that the ABs and Boks are the two in contest for No 1 in rugby history (the triple-A sort of) …. the Wallabies, England and France are the next tier, with Ireland being the new kid in town (AA) …. in my view it makes little sense creating imaginary competitions (unless you have too much time to waste)

Reaching for the card then pulling back when he realised a red card would carry further match suspensions is simply not his decision to make. A clear and obvious influence on the outcome of this match and indeed, the championship path.
