Wales U20 centre Louie Hennessey extends Premiership stay
Bath centre Louie Hennessey has signed a new "long-term" contract with the club.
Just days after bagging two tries in the Premiership Rugby Cup against Bristol Bears, the Wales U20 international has committed to the club he joined as an 18-year-old from Cardiff in 2022.
The 20-year-old has made 10 appearances for Bath to date while also completing a Foundation Degree in Sports Performance at the University of Bath.
Though playing outside of Wales, Hennessey remains eligible to play for his country - should he be picked - as he is still uncapped.
“I’m happy to be extending my time here at Bath Rugby," Hennessey said.
“I’ve loved every minute since I joined and I’m excited to see what the future holds for me individually and collectively as a group.”
Bath head of rugby Johann van Graan added: “I am very happy that Louie is continuing his journey with Bath Rugby.
"He is an exceptional talent and his hunger to improve is an attribute Louie possesses, which I love in a player."
