Wallabies assistant coach walks out on World Cup campaign - report

Assistant coach Brad Davis has walked out on the Wallabies’ Rugby World Cup campaign due to “personal reasons” according to a report out of Australia.
Aussie scribe Christy Doran from The Roar revealed on Thursday morning that Davis has resigned from his position as attack coach mere weeks out from the World Cup.
According to Doran, the “defence coach wasn’t enjoying the coaching environment under Jones.”
It’s understood that Davis is “likely” to take up a role with the Queensland Reds as their defence coach. Davis worked with Reds coach Les Kiss at the London Irish.
But for now, Davis – according to ESPN – is set to return to the United Kingdom due to personal reasons.
Australia will fly out of Sydney International Airport on Thursday, with head coach Eddie Jones set to speak with reporters just before midday.
More to come.
