Wallabies lose another star hours from kickoff
Wallabies fullback Israel Folau has been ruled out of tonight's Test against South Africa after failing to overcome an ankle injury.
Folau injured his ankle in the opening Bledisloe Cup clash at ANZ Stadium in Sydney.
Dane Haylett-Petty will slot in at fullback with Jack Maddocks promoted to the right wing and Tom Banks earning his start off the bench.
The Folau news is another blow for Michael Cheika's Wallabies squad, who yesterday announced inspirational back rower David Pocock would miss the fixture with a neck injury.
The Wallabies are back home after losing two Tests against the All Blacks to open their Rugby Championship campaign.
Tonight's clash will be the 86th Test match between South Africa and Australia, with the hosts having won on 36 occasions.

Hey genius, has there never been any athletes get away with it or have it covered up, ever? Again, just cause you're upset doesn't mean it's not true. But you should continue to support the Syringeboks.

All three were well on track to being All Blacks. They simply decided it was smarter to take the money right now rather than slog on for another 3 or 4 years waiting for their opportunity to line up.
Many AB quality players have not even got the chance to earn a cap for heavens sake, it is simply as you suggest elsewhere, better utilization of global talent to have them qualify for another nation.
The only problem is that the ABs get all the best players, mostly because they pay more, and the island nations, even the home nations, just get those that can't make it or want a bit more limelight.
