Warriors rout Ospreys as Scarlets survive Kings scare
Unbeaten Glasgow Warriors cemented their position atop Conference A by battering Ospreys in Pro14, while Southern Kings' long wait for a first win goes on as they were downed by Scarlets' second-half revival.
It has been a superb start to the season for the Warriors, who made it nine from nine with a 47-6 rout away to an Ospreys side that are bottom of the pool.
The visitors ran in seven tries, with George Horne scoring twice and Adam Hastings, Scott Cummings, George Turner, Brandon Thomson and Leonardo Sarto also dotting down.
Munster remain second in Conference A, after running out comfortable 36-19 winners at lowly Zebre - Alex Wootton scoring twice in the second half.
South African franchise Southern Kings appeared to be heading for a shock victory against Conference B leaders Scarlets as tries from Michael Makase, Yaw Penxe and Martin du Toit had the hosts 23-10 ahead just after half-time.
Ioan Nicholas and Werner Kruger's converted tries put the visitors ahead and, although Harlon Klaasen's score had the Kings briefly back in front, Daniel Jones completed a dramatic 34-30 win for Scarlets with nine minutes remaining.

Excellent analysis Nick as we have come to expect. I was not really aware that NFL strategies have been adopted by rugby teams, especially in defence. One point I would make is that the Northhampton attacking player on the end of the chain in the video examples has not maintained the correct depth to be effective. In the footage shown the outside player is too flat to make the best of the opportunity his inside players have provided. In each case they have to reduce speed and turn their body backwards to secure the ball, losing all momentum and giving the impressive scrambling defence the chance to shut down the threat.
