All Black flyhalf Beauden Barrett put in one of his most complete performances in the black number 10 jersey, demonstrating poise and control while at the same time pulling off his trademark audacious plays.

To round out the resounding 37-20 win, Barrett set up finisher Rieko Ioane with this between-the-legs tunnel ball, showing shades of King Carlos with the pass.

The brilliance of Barrett was on show throughout the match, regathering a short grubber kick from Damian McKenzie and trying a 'double-dip', putting it on the toe again only to be denied by a covering Bernard Foley.

Barrett bagged on himself on a mesmerizing piece of set-piece play, combining with Rieko Ioane down the blind side for a quick strike to build an insurmountable 27-13 lead.

Barrett spoke post-match of the play that was only brought up in meetings earlier in the week and that the play didn't work as well on the training paddock.

"It's satisfying. The coaches presented that at [the] strategy [meeting] earlier in the week.

"We trained it a few times but we didn't train it as well as we put out there, which is pleasing," he said.

His overall performance drew the praise of many fans on Twitter.
