Sleigh bells were ringing at QBE Stadium last night as Christmas came early for hooker James Parsons, pulling off an audacious flick pass not seen by a front-rower since... ever.
The Blues hooker pulled off a stunning behind-the-back flick pass after breaking Canterbury's line with a perfectly timed inside tip ball. He stuffed Matt Duffie's stocking with the miraculous pass, who weaved away to score under posts as Parsons waved a finger in the air.
