Watch - Jasper Wiese sees red in last game for Leicester
Springbok back row Jasper Wiese signed off from Leicester Tigers with a red card after being sent off as his side beat Exeter Chiefs at Welford Road on Saturday.
Leicester bagged a 40-22 victory over Exeter despite the incident that happened 12 minutes from full time, with Wiese seemingly losing his cool at a ruck following a clean-out on a teammate by the an Exeter forward.
Wiese appeared to lift Exeter replacement Ross Vintcent from the ground before dispositing him back down clumsily.
Referee Karl Dickson decided it met the red card threshold and sent him from the field following a TMO review.

The Springbok No.8 Wiese has been no stranger to cards during his time with Leicester Tigers.
Despite ending his time on a sour note, Wisee will be remembered fondly by Tigers' fans as one of their finest imports.
The red card could mean that the No.8 will miss Test availability for the Springboks, who play Ireland later this summer in a two match tour of South Africa.
If he is suspended for one or more of the summer Tests, it could open the door for Stormers' back row Evan Roos at No.8.

Great post and spot on in your analysis about generations to develop African rugby. There’s a strong argument to say that pursuing the successful URC path they’re already on and getting the EPCR comps to do similar will provide a role model for African countries AND fund SA activities, such as the development tours to Arg you mention, to help grow African rugby in parallel.
