Watch: Rugby 18 gameplay, do we finally have a game worth playing?
Set to arrive on our shelves October 27th, Rugby 18 is brought to us by Big Ben Interactive and Eko Studio.
As anyone with a games console and a passion for rugby will know, rugby gaming in recent memory has been an arduous affair.
Never quite reaching the early heights of Jonah Lomu Rugby's cult-like status or even the more modest heights of Rugby 2008.
In reality, other than a handful of titles, the vast majority of rugby games have been completely unplayable.
Rugby 18 has appeared on our horizon of late, as yet another beacon of hope but inevitably always turned out to be nothing more than a mirage.
Offering 65 official teams and official leagues including the Pro14, Aviva Premiership and the Top14, showing that there are some promising signs.
Licensed international teams include the All Blacks, Wallabies, France, England Scotland, Wales, Fiji and Italy.
Before we shout hallelujah from the rooftops, we'll let you look at the gameplay footage and decide for yourself, worth getting excited about?
