Watch: Spanish rugby's top tier delivers breathless finale

Spanish rugby’s top tier looks unbelievably exciting

We’re not fully sure what’s going on half the time in the below clip and there are definitely more than a few questionable refereeing decisions.

What we do know is that it looks immensely entertaining, unpredictable and if the commentary team are fluent in English, we need to sign them up for the Six Nations.

The game took place between Sanitas Alcobendas Rugby and SilverStorm El Salvador at the weekend, two of Spanish rugby’s heavyweights, Silverstorm coming out victorious by 32 points to 28.

The match was played in Pepe Rojo field and is estimated to have had a crowd of roughly 2,000 spectators, so there are some encouraging signs emerging from Spanish rugby’s domestic competition.

The game also ends with a contentious knock-on that looks suspiciously intentional?
