Taniela Tupou copped a brutal flying headbutt from team mate James Slipper during the Reds match against the Brumbies on the weekend and although both players appeared groggy as a result, Tupou somehow avoided being sent for a head injury assessment. Slipper himself was only sent for an HIA some ten minutes later. Replays show a physically wobbly Tupou being steadied by another team mate while feigning a shoulder injury before continuing with the game.

I liked that he backed Lynagh after last week although he didn't really have any other choice.
They seemed to punch themselves out in the first halve. They knocked the lions back on the gain line practically every time they carried.
The late tries they conceded in the first halve did for them. They were definitely set up to defend their lead in the second halve.
It was an excellent game outside of the late controversy.
16 Go to commentsThe wallabies dominated all the attacking stats
They were superior in all aspects expect the scrum
Tackle stats were the same
Lineouts perfect for the wallabies
The lions were more clinical in the final 10m

Such a good and long cameo on the wing
Gordon this week was outstanding but having Tate around the ruck late on was missed
For the Lions I thought Itoje and Sheehan were outstanding
Bundee has moments too but Gibson Park was equally influential like Gordon

Terrible call.

Their running game was breathtaking in the first halve.
And Tate! A benching 9 playing a blinder on the wing.
16 Go to commentsNo idea what your’e on about. Who played a player off thr ball? Should have went to Specsavers!
30 Go to commentsJust the one but big enough to absorb either shoulder.
30 Go to commentsPlaying a player off the ball shouldn't be a penalty!?

Give the highlights a look.
They are both dropping their heights which I agree avoids a card but it's still a penalty.
30 Go to commentsIf thats a penalty then we might as well play rugby league!
