Wesley Fofana's fast feet have left opposition defenders stranded for Clermont and France for years - and now he has given beleaguered French rugby fans something to cheer about following a dismal November international series when he made good on a bet to show off a few dance moves.

The France and Clermont centre promised on Twitter that he would strut his stuff with a routine inspired by the King of Pop, if France's tennis stars won a 10th Davis Cup.

"If France wins the Davis Cup," he said in a video on his Twitter feed. "I will do a few moves like Michael Jackson."

A few days after Les Bleus had just about escaped from the U Arena with a scarcely deserved draw against Japan, the country's Davis Cup tennis team, finally gave sports fans something to celebrate when they beat Belgium in front of a crowd of 27,000 in Lille to lift their first title since 2001.

So, Fofana had to make good on his promise - which he did. "Something promised, something due," he tweeted, above this video.

Fofana was not considered for the November internationals as he was just coming back to the game after spending nine months out with an ACL injury suffered during a European Champions Cup pool match against Ulster in January.

He returned to Clermont colours in October - and as a member of France's elite squad will, health permitting, be considered for the Six Nations, which kicks off in February.
