What to watch in men's rugby: HSBC SVNS returns

The third leg of the 2024-25 HSBC SVNS series returns on Friday in Perth and you can watch all three days live and free on RugbyPass TV.
In the men's competition, Fiji currently sit at the top of the standings following a victorious outing in Dubai in December, backed up by a third-place finish in Cape Town. They have been drawn in Pool C alongside New Zealand and the newly promoted Kenya and Uruguay.
Following a victory on home soil, South Africa are fourth in the standings but face a devilish pool on the west coast of Australia. The Blitzbokke will take on SVNS league winners Argentina, hosts Australia and the United States in Pool A.
This season's surprise package Spain will be hoping to keep the pressure on Fiji in Perth, with only four points separating them from the series leaders. After finishing tenth overall last season, Spain have already picked up a silver medal this campaign, losing in the Dubai final. They will have to contend with Olympic champions France, Ireland and Great Britain in Pool B.

My gut says Reds but my head says Tahs. Nah! I’m going the reds but not by much. I want to see the impact of Joe on the Wallaby players in both teams, McRight was a bit quiet last week and the Reds will need a blinder from him and Wilson offloading to each other for tries but this game will come down to the D and the breakdown. McRight must shine in this and rest of SR season or he’ll be on the bench in the Lions and Tizzano will start.
