Worcester Warriors sign out-half Jones from Dragons
Worcester Warriors have signed out-half Dorian Jones on loan from the Dragons until the end of the season.
The Abergavenny born fly-half will link up with the Aviva Premiership club with immediate effect.
The 26-year-old has made 66 appearances and scored 208 points for the Dragons, since his debut in 2013 and will join the English side as they look to finish their campaign on a high.
Warriors Director of Rugby Alan Solomons said: “Dorian is an experienced fly-half and will give our squad much-needed depth in a key position as we prepare for some very important games between now and the end of the campaign.”
Jones added: “I am excited to be joining Warriors until the end of the season and will be working hard to make a good impression and help the side.”
Dragons Head Coach, Bernard Jackman commented: “This is a great opportunity for Dorian to get some regular rugby and we would like to wish him all the best for the remainder of the season.”
Jones has already spent time in the Premiership with Sale Sharks and has also played for Ebbw Vale and Cross Keys.

Yes Roigard scored a great try when the Italians were focusing on our mediocre midfield which defends well enough but has lacked penetration all year. We could certainly do with the likes of a Nonu or Robertson from yesteryear who did know how to penetrate in midfield. A work on for Razor next year as I have seen some promising talent at provincial and super franchise levels which needs to be developed.
