Bio

Agustín Creevy is the most-capped Argentinian rugby player of all time. Although he plays primarily as a hooker, he has also played as a flanker during his long and distinguished career.

Born 15 March 1985, Agustín Creevy began playing rugby at San Luis Rugby Club in La Plata, Buenos Aires. After representing Argentina at both U19 and U21 level, he then made his debut for the first XV in 2005. Since then, he's made almost 100 appearances for the national side, with many of these coming as captain. During this time, he's regularly represented the side in The Rugby Championship and at the Rugby World Cup.

As well as enjoying a stellar international career with Argentina, Agustín Creevy has enjoyed a glittering domestic career. During this time, he has featured for many of the world's top sides, including Biarritz, Clermont and Montpellier in France and Worcester Warriors and London Irish in English Premiership Rugby. In addition to this, between 2016 and 2020, he also represented Jaguares in Super Rugby.

Known as an incredibly mobile hooker with excellent ball-handling skills, Agustín Creevy's ability to effectively offload the ball have also seen him become known affectionately as Sonny Bill Creevy, after All Blacks legend Sonny Bill Williams.

Now playing for London Irish in the Premiership, Agustín Creevy still has several years of top-class rugby ahead of him. We can't wait to see what else he can achieve at the domestic level and for Argentina.
