Bio
Blair Kinghorn is a utility back for Edinburgh and the Scotland national team. Although he primarily plays as a fullback, he's also capable of playing on the wing or as a fly half.
Born 18 January 1997, Blair Kinghorn started to play rugby at a young age and he represented Edinburgh at U17, U18 and U20 level. After progressing through the Edinburgh academy, he signed a two-year professional deal with the side in 2015.
Ever since he signed his first contract with Edinburgh, Blair Kinghorn has been a stalwart for the club. Since 2015, he's made more than 100 appearances for the side, scoring more than 200 points in the process.
Thanks to the success he's enjoyed playing for Edinburgh, Blair Kinghorn was first selected to play for Scotland in 2018. Prior to this, he'd made appearances for his country at both U18 and U20 level.
Since his debut for Scotland against England in the Six Nations Championship (a game Scotland won), Blair Kinghorn has been an ever present for the Scottish national team and he made two appearances for his country at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan. This included Scotland's 61-0 win over Russia.
Still young and with his best years ahead of him, we can't wait to see what else Blair Kinghorn can achieve in the game. His rise so far has been meteoric, and we hope it continues for years to come.
