Blair Kinghorn Bio

Born 18 January 1997, Blair Kinghorn started to play rugby at a young age and he represented Edinburgh at U17, U18 and U20 level. After progressing through the Edinburgh Academy, he signed a two-year professional deal with the side in 2015.

Between then and 2023, he made more than 130 appearances for the club. In doing so, he became the youngest player to reach 100 caps for Edinburgh.

However, in December 2023, he left his boyhood club and signed for Toulouse in the Top 14. Due to the timing of the move, the French club had to pay a six-figure sum to Edinburgh in order to buy Kinghorn out of his contract.

Blair Kinghorn has since become an integral member of the Toulouse side. He scored 12 points in the 2023-24 European Rugby Champions Cup final, helping the club secure their sixth European title in extra time.

Blair Kinghorn was first selected to play for Scotland in 2018. Prior to this, he'd made appearances for his country at both U18 and U20 level. Since his debut for Scotland against England in the 2018 Six Nations Championship (a game Scotland won), Blair Kinghorn has been an ever present for the Scottish national team and he’s represented his country at two Rugby World Cups.

Thanks to his fine form for both Scotland and Toulouse, Blair Kinghorn was selected for the 2025 British and Irish Lions tour of Australia by head coach Andy Farrell.

Still young and with his best years ahead of him, we can't wait to see what else Blair Kinghorn can achieve in the game.
