Carla Arbez Bio

Carla Arbez is a talented fly half who contributes her skills to her club, Stade Bordelais, and the French women’s national rugby union team.

Arbez was born on 24 May 1999, in Biarritz, France. She started playing rugby at the age of seven and began her junior club career at the Oléron Rugby Club. She then moved to Stade Rochelais in 2012, where she remained until 2014.

Aside from a stint with Bayonne between 2018 and 2021, Arbez has been with her club, Stade Bordelais, since 2014. In the 2022-23 season of the French Elite 1, she won the championship with her side. She then helped the team retain the title the following season.

In 2023, Arbez was selected for the French team ahead of the 2023 Six Nations Tournament. She scored a try for France against Italy during the first match of the tournament. Later that year, she also competed in the WXV tournament.

Arbez has had an impressive career in rugby union so far and we anticipate more great things from her in the near future.
