Bio

With more than 300 appearances for Harlequins and more than 80 appearances for England, Danny Care is a giant of English rugby who is a firm favourite with rugby fans from around the world.

Born 2 January 1987, Danny Care began playing rugby at the age of six. Although he loved football and played for Sheffield Wednesday's Academy, he decided to commit to rugby and joined the Leeds Tykes Academy, where he progressed until he appeared for the first team.

However, Danny Care only made 13 appearances for the Leeds Tykes before he left for Harlequins in 2006. During this period of his career, he also played Rugby Sevens at the Commonwealth Youth Games (2004) and the Commonwealth Games (2006), earning a silver medal on both occasions.

Danny Care has played for Harlequins ever since he left Leeds Tykes and has now made more than 300 appearances for the side, scoring almost 500 points in the process. During this period, he's won the Premiership, the Amlin Challenge Cup and finished as a runner-up in the European Rugby Challenge Cup.

Thanks to his impressive performances for Harlequins over the years, Danny Care has represented his country more than 80 times. Before making his debut in 2008, he also represented his country at U16, U18, U19, U20 and U21 level. During his time with England, he's won the Six Nations Championship several times, including a Grand Slam victory in 2016.

Although he's now entering the latter stages of his career, Danny Care still has a lot to offer at the elite level. We can't wait to see what else he can achieve in the game.
