Jackson Wray

Jackson Wray is an English rugby union player who plays as both a number eight and a flanker. Bar one season out on loan, he's represented Saracens for his entire professional career.

Although he was born in Sunderland, Jackson Wray spent the majority of his childhood in Essex. During this time, he played for King John School, Westcliff RFC, Barking RFC, England U16s and England U20s.

Jackson Wray made his professional debut for Saracens in 2008. However, finding first team opportunities limited, he joined Bedford Blues on loan. Here, his performances really captured the attention of rugby fans and the Saracens management staff.

When he returned to Saracens, Jackson Wray became an established member of the first team squad. From 2013-14 onwards, he then became a mainstay in the Saracens side.

Ever since he began to make regular appearances for Saracens, Jackson Wray has been hugely successful. Since graduating from the side's academy, he's made more than 250 appearances for Saracens. During this time, he's won the Premiership title with the club on four occasions (2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019). In addition to this, he's also helped Saracens win the Heineken Champions Cup in 2016, 2017 and 2019.

On top of all this, after Saracens were relegated due to salary cap infringements, Jackson Wray helped the club return to the Premiership at the first time of asking in the 2020-21 season.
