Bio
Josh Adams is a fast and skilful winger who has the world at his feet. A consistent point scorer for Cardiff Blues and Wales, he's quickly gaining a reputation as an elite player.
Born 21 April 1995, Josh Adams began his career with Llanelli and made his debut against Pontypridd in 2013. During his time with the club, he made 30 appearances and scored nine tries. Due to his success with Llanelli, he also made an appearance for Scarlets in the Anglo-Welsh Cup.
However, in 2015, it was announced that Josh Adams was moving to Worcester Warriors. After a brief spell on loan at Cinderford, he returned to Worcester in red-hot form and was the top try scorer in the English Premiership around the close of 2017. At the end of his Worcester Warriors contract in 2019, Josh Adams returned home to Wales to represent the Cardiff Blues in the PRO14.
Thanks to his impressive performances for Worcester Warriors, Josh Adams was called up to the Wales senior squad for the first time in 2018. He then made his debut in the Six Nations Championship against Scotland. The following year, he played a crucial role as Wales captured an impressive Grand Slam.
Following this, Josh Adams continued to perform impressively for the national side and he ended the 2019 Rugby World Cup as the tournament's top try scorer.
Thanks to his impressive performances for Wales in the past few years, Josh Adams was called into the British and Irish Lions squad for the 2021 tour of South Africa.
With many of his best years still ahead of him, we can't wait to see what Josh Adams can achieve for Cardiff Blues, Wales and the British and Irish Lions.
