Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe is one of the best all-round backrow players in world rugby, well-regarded for his tackling, ball-carrying and line-out abilities. His all-action performances with former club Sale Sharks and current side Toulon have won him many fans in the Northern Hemisphere. His international debut came in 2004 against Uruguay. Lobbe was one of the stars of the 2007 Rugby World Cup, with his phenomenal work-rate winning him many plaudits.
