Kenny Logan Bio
Kenny Logan was born on 3 April 1972 in Stirling, Scotland. During his younger years, he had trials as a professional goalkeeper for Dundee United and Hearts. During this time he was diagnosed with dyslexia (he couldn’t read until he was 30) and used sports as a form of escapism.
Logan left school at 16 and began his rugby-playing career with his hometown club, Stirling County. In 1996, he was representing Glasgow District when the team turned professional and became Glasgow Rugby (now Glasgow Warriors).
A year later, Logan joined Wasps and enjoyed his first season in English rugby. He stayed for seven seasons, helping the side capture the Anglo-Welsh Cup twice and the Premiership once.
In 2004, he re-signed for Glasgow before joining London Scottish for one season before his retirement in 2005.
Although Kenny Logan enjoyed a stellar domestic career, he saved his best performances for Scotland. He was capped 70 times by his country between 1992 and 2003, scoring 20 tries in the process.
Since his retirement, Kenny Logan has served as the president of Sparks charity. He now works as a public speaker who helps others overcome adversity.
