Manae Feleu Bio

Manaé Feleu is a hugely impressive lock who currently represents both FC Grenoble Amazones and the French national team.

Born in Mâcon on 3 February 2000, Manaé Feleu grew up on the Futuna Islands. Here, she was introduced to rugby by her father.

Although she spent some of her childhood in New Zealand, where she won a 1A Rugby Championship with Karamu College, she moved back to France in 2020 in order to study medicine.

Manaé Feleu made her international debut for France in Grenoble (where she plays her club rugby) on 14 November 2020 in a match against England. Following this, she was selected in the France squad for the delayed 2021 Rugby World Cup

Fast forward to 2024 and she was named as the France captain for the team’s Women’s Six Nations Championship matches. During the tournament, she scored her first try for her country and played in test matches alongside her sister, Teani Feleu

Still young and with plenty left to prove, we can’t wait to see what else Manaé Feleu can achieve in the game.
