Natasha Hunt Bio

Natasha Hunt, also known as Mo Hunt, is often hailed as one of the most dynamic scrum-halves in women’s rugby. A stalwart for the England national rugby team, Hunt is known for her exceptional playmaking and leadership. She currently captains Gloucester-Hartpury Women’s and she has also represented England Sevens.

Born on 21 March 1989 in Gloucester, Hunt’s childhood revolved around sport. The future rugby star always carried a ball with her and she played at every opportunity.

After impressive spells at Malvern, Bath and Bristol Bears, she made her international debut in 2011. Three years later, she achieved two major milestones: she won the 2014 Rugby World Cup and signed her professional contract.

Since then, Hunt has made numerous notable appearances. She played at her second Rugby World Cup in 2017. Added to this, she was selected to represent the Barbarians in 2023.

In addition to her 15s career, Hunt has also made significant contributions to the England Sevens team. She was part of the squad that competed at the 2016 Rio Olympics, where England finished fourth. Two years later, she won bronze at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Then, in 2021, she made her second Olympic appearance at the delayed 2020 Games.

Off the pitch, Hunt is dedicated to the growth and development of women’s rugby. She is heavily involved in coaching and mentoring younger players, and she uses her experience to inspire the next generation.

A talented player and a true ambassador for the sport, we’re looking forward to the next stage of Natasha Hunt’s career.
