Bio
Olivia Apps is an elite rugby sevens player who operates as a scrum-half. She’s the current captain of the Canadian women’s sevens team.
Born on 1 December 1998, Olivia Apps was raised in Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, Canada. She was introduced to the sport of rugby in Grade 10, after playing football in her youth. She quickly took to rugby and started playing for Ontario shortly after.
Since, she’s enjoyed a stellar career. She’s represented her country in sevens at the Commonwealth Games and at the Olympics, where she also won a silver medal in 2024. She’s also played for Canada at the Rugby World Cup Sevens.
In 2023, she also made her XV-a-side debut for Canada in a test against New Zealand.
Still young and with the world at her feet, we can’t wait to see what else Olivia Apps can achieve in both sevens and the XV-a-side game.
