Ronan Kelleher Bio

Born 24 January 1998, Rónan Kelleher played as an outside back and then in the back row for most of his school years. He then briefly transitioned to the prop position, before ultimately settling on hooker as his best role.

Kelleher came through the Leinster Academy and made his debut for the senior team in 2019. He’s stayed with the Irish province ever since and has made more than 70 appearances for the club. During this time, he has won the Pro14 and featured in the final of the European Rugby Champions Cup

Thanks to his impressive performances for Leinster, Rónan Kelleher received his first Ireland cap in 2020. He’s since made nearly 50 appearances for his country. In 2023, he helped Ireland win the Grand Slam at the Six Nations. A year later, he played a vital role as Ireland retained the title.

Due to his play for both Leinster and Ireland, Rónan Kelleher was named in the British and Irish Lions squad for the team’s 2025 tour of Australia

Still young and with plenty left to offer for both club and country, we can’t wait to see what Rónan Kelleher does next.
