Bio

Séraphine Okemba has been a winger for Lyon OU since 2021 and is an integral part of the French rugby sevens team.

Born on 3 December 1995, Okemba began playing rugby for Stade Rennais. From here, she moved to Stade Toulousain and Stade Français before ultimately joining Lyon OU in 2021.

As part of France’s sevens squad, she won a silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Additionally, Okemba has also secured a bronze medal for France at the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Cape Town.

In 2024, Okemba returned to the Olympics with France, competing in the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Okemba has had an impressive international career so far and we’re eager to see what’s next for the French outside back.
