Will Stuart Bio

Born in Westminster in July 1996, Will Stuart started playing rugby as a youth with Andover RFC and Salisbury RFC. He then joined up with the Wasps Academy in 2014 after finishing his education.

Stuart made his senior debut for Wasps in 2016. However, he failed to establish himself in the first team. During his time at Wasps, he also played on loan for a number of National League 1 and RFU Championship sides, including Blackheath, Birmingham Moseley and Nottingham.

In January 2019, Will Stuart signed for Bath, having made over 30 senior appearances for Wasps between 2016 and 2019. It was at the Somerset club where his career truly began to flourish. To date he's played nearly 100 times for Bath and he remains a regular fixture on the team sheet. During this time, he’s won both the Premiership and the European Rugby Challenge Cup

At international level, Will Stuart initially played for England in 2016 at U20 level. However, he was first called up for the England senior side for the 2020 Six Nations. He made his debut against France during the tournament, coming on as a replacement for Kyle Sinckler. He then helped England win the tournament in the final round against Italy.

Will Stuart's first start for England came later that same year in the Autumn Internationals against Georgia. To date he’s been capped 50 times by his country.

Thanks to his strong performances for Bath and England in recent years, Will Stuart has been named in the British and Irish Lions squad for the team’s 2025 tour of Australia

With many of his best years in rugby still ahead of him, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for Will Staurt.
