Zoe Harrison Bio

Zoe Harrison currently plays as a fly half for the England women's rugby union team and Saracens Women. She comes from a family of passionate rugby players; Harrison's brother, Alex, played for Wasps, and her dad, John, represented Wales at school level. Her international debut came in 2017, when she was just 19 years old.

Born on 14 April 1998, Harrison started playing rugby at Tring at the age of five. Her talent was recognised early on and she joined the England Women talent development group at the age of 14. Additionally, she played U15s and U16s at county level before representing England in the European U18s Sevens and the England U20s.

Hard working and dedicated, Harrison applied herself both on and off the pitch. She studied sports rehabilitation and exercise at Middlesex University but never took her eyes off the ball. Her determination was rewarded and she subsequently joined Saracens in 2016.

To date, Harrison has enjoyed a successful club career. Her first big moment came in 2017, when she was named the Players' Player of the Year at Saracens. Then she was selected to start in the Premier 15s finals in both 2018 and 2019. In the latter of the two occasions, she scored 18 points and helped the team to win their second consecutive title.

After featuring in three autumn internationals in 2017, Harrison signed her full-time England contract in 2019. She was selected to play in every game of the 2019 Women's Six Nations and won her first Grand Slam. One year later, she featured in every match at the 2020 Six Nations Championship.

Continuing her Six Nations success, Harrison excelled at the 2021 tournament. She played in the final match against France and celebrated as England won their third consecutive title. She then went on to feature for England at the 2021 Rugby World Cup, where the team reached the final.

Next, Harrison returned to the Six Nations. She was a key player at the 2022 and 2024 tournaments, where she won two more Grand Slam titles—this took her total to four. She also celebrated her third Premiership win in 2022.

With most of her career still ahead of her, we're looking forward to watching more of Zoe Harrison's powerful performances.
