When Does the 6 Nations Start?
The Six Nations Championship starts in February and the final Six Nations fixtures take place in March. In total, the tournament is contested across five rounds, with three matches held per round. Each team plays all of the others once, either at home or away. This means each team plays five games and 15 fixtures are contested in total.
Rugby 6 Nations 2024: Fixtures, Games & Dates
The first Six Nations 2024 fixture will be played on Friday 2 February. This is a clash between France and Ireland at the Stade Vélodrome, Marseille. The remaining two fixtures from this round (Italy vs England and Wales vs Scotland) will take place on Saturday 3 February.
Following this, round two will be contested on 10 and 11 February. Round three will follow on 24 and 25 February, and round four will take place on 9 and 10 March.
The final round will be held on 16 March and will feature the three final Six Nations matches. The tournament will conclude at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais, Décines-Charpieu and will feature a battle between old rivals, France and England.
